As part of our 40th anniversary celebrations, BDP is looking to connect with former trustees.
Trusteeship is a vital role with trustees taking on legal accountability and responsibility for the work of the charity. Trustees provide support and scrutiny, and contribute a significant range of skills and life experience to the role. They are essential to the success of any charity and BDP has been no different.
As a result, during our 40th birthday year, we wish to commemorate and celebrate the contributions of our trustees.
If you have been a trustee of BDP at any time in our history, going back to our founding in 1985 and opening of services in 1986, you are warmly invited to attend an event to celebrate and commemorate the service of our trustees.
This will be held on Thursday 26 November from 18.00-21.00 at The Forge, Colston Yard, Bristol BS1 5BD.
All former trustees are also invited to attend BDP’s 2026 Annual General Meeting which will be on Monday 9 November at 16.00 at the St Paul’s Learning Centre, 94 Grosvenor Rd, St Paul’s, Bristol BS2 8XJ. The option to join online is also available.
If you are a former trustee and you are interested in attending one or both of these events, please contact:
Stephen.Ayres@bdp.org.uk or phone 0117 4628 464 to RSVP, or to find out more information.
BDP is also holding a 40th anniversary celebration evening which is open to everyone on Tuesday 3 November at St George’s Hall, former trustees are warmly encouraged to attend this event as well.
No RSVP is needed and tickets can be purchased at: Celebrating 40 years of Bristol Drugs Project | St George’s Bristol
