Recruiting | Drug & Alcohol Shared Care Worker

Are you passionate about helping people gain independence from drugs & alcohol? We are.

We are seeking Shared Care Workers to join our Treatment Team. The main focus of your role is providing Shared Care Opioid Substitution Treatment service in partnership with  GP Practices.  You will be joining one of the largest and longest established Primary Care-based treatment services in the UK, supporting more than 1,800 individuals at any time. Bristol’s successful Shared Care scheme provides opioid substitution treatment in partnership with over 90% of Bristol’s GPs, and is growing alcohol detoxification support in most GP Practices.

Based in GP surgeries in the heart of communities, you will support people to move through treatment, manage prescriptions and provide advice to GPs. You will need to be assertive, diplomatic, with excellent organisational skills and have the ability to work well within pressurised primary care settings. Above all you will have the passion and skills to help the people we support to make the changes they seek.

Candidates must have access to their own motorised transport.
