Creative Communities

Our Creative Communities are bringing adults together through creativity to help support their recovery.

At BDP we run weekly groups for adults who are affected by problematic use of alcohol and other drugs, to have fun, create or play alongside people who have had similar experiences.

Groups provide safe and supportive environments to take part in a structured activities and experiences. Attending helps to increase feelings of connection, confidence and self-esteem, while reducing anxiety and depression. They are hosted by arts professionals with support by trained BDP staff and volunteers.

All groups are free, with refreshments provided. No previous experience is needed. They offer a great way to meet people, discover, connect and express yourself. If you are curious please come along - everyone was new once.
