South Hub

Are you interested in supporting young people who are affected by drug and alcohol use?

Now in our 34th year, Bdp is an expert, energetic charity working with over 4,000 people a year, in a vibrant city with an increasingly diverse population.

With over 20 years’ experience of providing services for children and young people we are working in partnership with Creative Youth Network as part of Bristol’s Targeted Youth Service, providing specialist support for young people affected by their own or a family members drug or alcohol use.

Based in the South Hub, you will be part of a youth work team, including other specialist staff covering wellbeing and healthy relationships. As part of this integrated approach you will identify, engage and support young people through 1:1 and small group work; be a resource for colleagues and partners; and provide training and day to day consultancy. You will also provide the pathway for young people into drug and alcohol treatment services. If you are passionate about working with young people and substance use, assertive in reaching all young people in need, have excellent organisational skills and are able to work well in a partnership setting, this is for you.

Candidates must have access to their own transport.
