An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Substance Misuse Nurse to work to provide maternity cover for Bristol ROADS (Recovery Orientated Alcohol & Drugs Service) as part of the Engagement and Early Intervention (EEI) team based at Bristol Drugs Project (BDP).
The Engagement and Early Intervention (EEI) team is made up of Assertive Engagement Workers, Link Workers and Health Care and Advice Nurses.
The post holder will support the provision of BBV and harm reduction related interventions and support; assessing needs and developing care plans for BBV testing and immunisation, and referring appropriately for further treatment. The role will provide a full range of harm reduction and health promotion interventions including sexual health advice.
There can be a level of flexibility with this post and we can accommodate those who would like to offer as little as 1 day per week where the pre-requisite skills exist.
