Recruiting | New Leaf Young People’s Drug & Alcohol Worker (Bristol)

With more than 20 years of providing services for children and young people, New Leaf provides specialist youth work to support young people adversely affected by cannabis use and at risk of exploitation.

You will build relationships with the young people at risk who need a persistent and flexible approach, building a strong and trusted therapeutic alliance for up to 6-months to maximise their opportunities for change. Our target population is young cannabis users who are most at risk from Child Criminal Exploitation, Child Sexual Exploitation, Anti-Social Behaviour and Serious Youth Violence, including knife crime. You will deliver both one to one and small group work and your knowledge of drug and alcohol use will inform the work of project partners, including Safer Options and other Bristol responses to Serious Youth Violence.
