We are a dedicated and energetic organisation with over 30 years’ experience supporting people in Bristol.
As one of our four trainees, you will gain fantastic experience – engaging people in treatment or supporting people to detox and engage with their communities. You’ll also complete a recognised qualification, supported by a local training provider.
If you are interested in helping people make the changes they seek, have a solid understanding of the barriers people experiencing problems with drugs and alcohol face, and possess good communication skills (written and verbal) this may be for you. Fluency in a language in addition to English is desirable.
This opportunity is specifically for people with a history of problematic drug and/or alcohol use who have been recently engaged with treatment services and who face significant barriers to employment such as:
- a criminal record
- no recent work history
- a lack of qualifications
