Now in our 33rd year, BDP is an expert, energetic charity working with over 4,000 people a year in a vibrant city with an increasingly diverse population. We are seeking exceptional people to join us:
Bristol’s successful Shared Care scheme provides opioid substitution treatment in partnership with over 90% of Bristol’s GPs, and alcohol detoxification support in the majority of the surgeries.
Working alongside BDP’s Shared Care treatment workers you will support people during the period that they undertake detoxification from opioids and beyond as they move into services that support their recovery. You will be central in the provision of support using a Contingency Management approach that encourages those undertaking detoxification to engage in activities that enhance their chances of avoiding relapse and a return to treatment.
Candidates must have access to their own motorised transport.
