Support for people who are bereaved as a result of drug and alcohol use

We can provide you with links to appropriate organisations who can can support you around the loss of a loved-one through alcohol or other drugs.

Counselling services can provide a safe place to express your grief and difficult thoughts and feelings in a confidential and supportive environment, allowing you to make sense of your own personal grief process.

Bereavement Memorial

Bereavement Through Addiction was founded in 2009 by two parents, Joan Hollywood and Paul Craig, as a result of their experience of losing their son. BTA hold an annual memorial to mark the lives of those lost to alcohol and other drugs.

2019's memorial is held on November 30th.
