Behind The Scenes | Opiate Substitution Therapy

In this Behind The Scenes we will explore the ongoing work of Shared Care.  Launched in 1997 the Shared Care team work alongside GPs in over 40 surgeries in Bristol delivering Opioid Substitution Therapy (OST).

The session focus on how we deliver Opioid Substitution Treatment in Bristol ROADS, the evidence under-pinning our approach, looking at the issues around optimisation of treatment and finally how we support alcohol detox in primary care settings.
