Can you help build bridges into Bristol’s Recovery Orientated Alcohol & Drugs Service (ROADS) for people who are often the furthest from the alcohol and drug treatment they need, including Black Asian and Minority Ethnic communities, Faith Groups, Gypsies and Travellers.
Working in partnership with organisations and communities your key tasks are:
- Raising awareness of alcohol and drug use and developing routes into ROADS for people who would benefit from support that is acceptable and accessible to them.
- Working directly with individuals who are affected by alcohol and drug use who are from Black Asian and Minority Ethnic and Faith communities to engage them with our services.
We are seeking someone who is non-judgmental and understands both the stigma and barriers people face in connecting with support for alcohol or drugs. With a personal understanding of living or working in multi-cultural communities you will have the ability to network, overcome barriers and open multiple doors to increase support for diverse communities in Bristol.
