Family Support

 

BDP's Family Support service is available to any drug user, or former drug-user who has children. We aim to provide a package of support looking not only at an individual's drug-use, but also issues such as housing, parenting and relationships.

The family support service is also available to work with drug users in an advocacy role with Social Services (case conference etc.) or to liaise with other professionals.

A referral form for this service is available from BDP.

Workers are qualified Social Workers, and are available to advise other professionals working with drug-using parents on issues such as drug-effects and treatment options. We are also happy to attend team meetings to explain the work of our service and to answer any questions that you may have.
