The successful candidate will join the existing Housing Support Team at BDP.  They will operate under the “Floating Support” model, working with people who are currently homeless or living in temporary housing as well as tenants living in their self-contained accommodation.

We are funded by Bristol’s Supporting People team and joint-commissioned by the Drug Strategy Team to support individuals who use drugs and/or alcohol. A mixture of practical and emotional support is provided, aimed at engagement in treatment services. Support is carried out primarily in individuals’ homes, across the city of Bristol and access to own transport is required.  

A good understanding of substance misuse, treatment and housing with a minimum one year’s experience in a similar role is required.
